Reality, for many, is difficult. Some prefer to see life through rose-colored glasses and may be completely oblivious to the complexities of life that others may live. This is the reason why it is so important for those who feel that they are voiceless to raise their voices. Otherwise, the individuals seeing life through rose-colored glasses will never hear you or see you. It is important that those individuals know that you exist—not to validate your existence because you don’t need anyone to validate your existence—but so that healing can begin on both sides.
